My 126th Album - still got a bit more music in me - A set of 12 inventions for Steel Casing - Rh 484 to 495. The 15th volume of my Metal Percussion music - MPm 15.

I inherited a big old family house, where I grew up. In the kitchen was a monstrous old Boiler - noisy and sadly now leaking slightly. Before I could move in - it would have to go. It sat inside a thick steel casement - which most of the family sat on like a piece of furniture - especially in the cold. The various parts of the casement had a dozen different sounds - as I percussed on it from distant childhood. I learned to play percussion on it and some of my earliest Metal percussion recordings were performed on it. Now, it had to go - I set about making a documentary album of inventions with it. Some serious new music with it as a rich inspirational instrument. I had the contractors save the Casement and especially the thick, heavy steel door - which will find new life as a suspendable percussion panel.
